How to Apply

Chabot College scholarships are offered through a partnership between The Friends of Chabot College (FCC) and the Office of Student Life (OSL). Scholarships are managed online using the AwardSpring platform, which is Chabot College’s online scholarship application system.

  • With AwardSpring, students complete one application that matches them to eligible scholarships and lets them apply, upload documents, and make edits online before the deadline.
  • Applications usually open at the beginning of the Spring semester. This year, the portal opens on January 1 and closes March 1, 2026.
  • Most scholarship payments are available after the Scholarship Awards Luncheon. Some criteria specific scholarships will be paid in the Fall 2026 semester

The Scholarship Application Process

  1. STEP 1: General Scholarship Application
The application includes student information, academic information, financial information, qualification questions, and certification.
  2. STEP 2: Scholarship-Specific Applications
AwardSpring shows only scholarships students are eligible for. These may include essays and document uploads such as transcripts and letters of recommendation. The student must complete the requirements that are specific to the applications. Applications are reviewed by a committee, and recipients are recognized at the Scholarship Awards Luncheon in May.

Spring 2026 Scholarships are open January 1 to March 1, 2026
